Who is Quietust?

He's a human male who, among other things, is interested in the way the 8-bit Nintendo Entertainment System works.

What sort of stuff has he done?

He wrote the NES emulator Nintendulator, as well as some simple NES demos.

For some reason, he also took it upon himself to completely trace out the entire RP2A03G die (aside from the 6502 within it) in an attempt to better understand its behavior. Most notably, his findings suggested that pin 30 served to enable 4 additional I/O registers at $4018-$401A.
